Hull<\/b>
\nHull condition is assessed by general non-destructive testing and condition assessment. For hulls with heavy coatings, the condition of all areas of the substrate cannot be guaranteed. The examination does not give an opinion on the condition of areas that are not visible, e.g., behind linings, beneath solid flooring, etc. Where these are not accessible, the possibility of isolated damage or deterioration should not be ruled out.

\n\nEngine \/ Generator<\/b>
\nEngines and propulsion equipment will be visually inspected, and the engine will be commissioned (if specified in the order and if possible) to check its general characteristics. Dismantling of the engine or associated equipment is not carried out as part of a normal condition survey. Therefore, without separate disassembly and mechanical measurement, no detailed statement about the condition of the internal parts is possible.\nFurther examinations of elements or oil analysis are considered additional services.

\n\n\nEquipment<\/b>
\nEngines, masts, booms, standing and running rigging and sails, electrical, electronic, pumping, gas and sanitary equipment, sewage treatment plants, air conditioning, navigational aids are inspected for appearance and installation only without disassembly or specific inspection. On a standing mast, only the parts of the mast and rigging up to the head height are inspected in detail.\nFurther examinations of elements (e.g. gear, mast, oil analysis) are considered additional services.

\n\nInstallations<\/b>
\nElectrical, plumbing, heating and other installations are inspected where they are visible, but not operated unless they are demonstrated. In any case, the electrical wiring will be inspected (only) visually.

\n\nGas installation<\/b>
\nThe bottled gas installation is inspected visually only, no pressure tests are carried out as part of the survey. All gas systems should be checked regularly as part of a normal preventative maintenance routine. It is strongly recommended that a more extensive check is carried out by a specially authorised service

\n\nTanks, windows, doors<\/b>
\nTanks are inspected where visible, but not inside and not pressure tested. Windows, hatches, and outer doors are not tested for watertightness. Hull fittings and ship's outlets are not dismantled for inspection.

\n\nYacht details<\/b>
\nDetails such as registration numbers, tonnage, year of construction and dimensions are normally taken as given, or as shown on the vessel's documentation, and are not authenticated. Should the dimensions be verified, they are measured using standard measuring equipment and should not be relied upon for overall accuracy.\nThe survey cannot be used to establish that there is a clear title to the vessel or that it is free from debts and encumbrances.

\n\nValuation<\/b>
\nAny valuation presented, is based on known average sales values that can be achieved for yachts or boats of similar type and condition in the same location. Insurance value and replacement value are different and may vary significantly, especially for rare or unusual yachts.

\n\nIntended Usage<\/b>
\nUnless explicitly stated to the contrary, the survey and any comments concerning the design, performance, or suitability of the vessel, are based on the assumption that the yacht will be used for private use and in the waters for which it was designed. \nUnless expressly stated, the survey is not intended to verify compliance with any national or international codes, standards, or regulations.
